This roadmap reflects the current priorities of the 2i2c Product Team and is automatically synced from our internal project board. It is constantly changing based on funding, priorities, and community needs.
Our goals¶
We publish this roadmap to achieve three main goals:
Transparency: Make our development interests and priorities discoverable for our member communities, upstream communities, funders, and the general public.
Participation: Invite discussion, feedback, and collaboration on the initiatives we are exploring.
Co-funding: Encourage communities to identify shared needs and support them with financial resources or in-kind contributions.
How you can influence our roadmap¶
We use the roadmap to gather feedback about what would be most impactful from communities, and to gather resources from communities that can support roadmap initiatives. You can influence our roadmap in a few ways, all of which you can do in the issues linked by a roadmap item:
Endorse initiatives. Click the link on an initiative and write a comment saying its value to you and who you represent (an org, community, etc).
Offer funding. If you’ve got budget to work with, let us know that you’d be able to co-fund with others (or entirely by yourself).
Offer support. If you’d be willing to write a letter of support for us to seek funding (e.g. for a grant), let us know.
